Emeilleurq Skincare was founded during a very difficult time in terms of race relations in the world. When we created this brand, we knew from the beginning we wanted it be more than just skincare. We knew we wanted it to be inclusive and represent the under-represented. As we delved more into the topics and issues that surround us as people, the more we educated ourselves on what it means to make a difference, we realised that we didn’t want to focus on just one issue that affects us (racism), we wanted to do our part in other areas as well, such as body positivity, mental health, violence, sexism, economic inequality, reproductive rights etc; there are many! We believe true beauty is using your voice and position of privilege to make a difference in someone else’s life. And considering women are the minority in almost every vertical we wanted to do our part and help.
Here is what we are doing:
Starting September 30th, we will be donating 10% of our profits to different organisations and charities that empower women. We have picked 12 different organisations of which one will get a donation from us. That’s our ‘WE CARE 12 MONTH INITIATIVE’
When you buy from us, upon checking out, you will be asked to donate a ‘tip’ which we will match (up to £100) and give to one organisation that month. This is totally optional ofcourse 🙂
Will you help us?
Organisations we pledge to donate to over the next 12 months:
